Collection of data
We collect, process and use personal data in pawoo only insofar as they are necessary for the functionality of the app. This includes but is not limited to:
- Log data - In the case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone, referred to here as “Log Data”. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing pawoo, the time and date of your use of pawoo, and other statistics.
- Email Address - This is only required for multiplayer functionality. The email address will normally be received via a 3rd party authentication provider, but only with your consent.
- Advertising Identifier - Pawoo may show advertisements. This might be banners, full screen ads or short videos. You can, through an in-app purchase, avoid advertisements to be shown.
Our in-app advertisements use advertising identifiers. Advertising identifiers are values that devices (such as mobile phones) can provide to identify that device to advertising partners. This identifier is used by advertisers to provide more relevant personalized advertisements.
You can opt out of receiving personalized ads on your device, by turning off the advertising identifier. The steps to do this vary between devices but typically you can change it in the privacy section of your device preferences or settings. Please note that you will still see advertisements if you turn off the advertising identifier, but they will no longer be using your advertising identifier and may as a consequence be less relevant to you.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Below are some links to the privacy policies of third-party service providers used by the app, these include but are not limited to:
